The House Next Door Laundry Room & Half Bathroom Updates
The house had a very small galley kitchen when we bought it, and we knew right away that we wanted to move the kitchen elsewhere. Once we figured out the kitchen would move to the family room, we had a great space for a new hallway, a laundry room, and a half bathroom. The laundry room was in the unfinished basement when we bought the house, so moving it upstairs was a huge plus.
We also opened up the stairs down to the basement (thanks to a great idea by my cousin, Lindsey!) and installed new light fixtures and recessed lighting.
