Our Next Remodel - The Fairytale House

We are thrilled to announce our latest undertaking: the Fairytale House! As the name implies, this charming home looks like it was plucked straight from the pages of a storybook, with its whimsical details and enchanting exterior. However, as with many older homes, the interior needs some serious work to bring it up to modern-day living standards.

We are taking the Fairytale House down to the studs and completely reconfiguring the floor plan. The current layout is outdated and inefficient, with small, closed-off rooms that don't flow well together. We plan to open up the space, creating a more spacious and airy feel throughout the house.

One of the biggest changes we are making is moving the kitchen. The current kitchen is small and cramped, tucked away on one side of the house.  We're relocating it to a more central area of the home, which will make it easier to entertain guests and interact with family members while preparing meals.

Another major improvement we are making is moving the laundry room from the basement to the main level. This will make doing laundry much more convenient and save time and energy.

One of the most exciting parts of this project is finishing off the attic space where we’ll be adding two bedrooms and a bathroom. This will provide additional living space for the future homeowners and increase the value of the home.

Throughout the renovation, we plan to preserve the charming exterior details that give the Fairytale House its name, but will update the interior so that it matches the beauty of the exterior. We're confident that this combination of old and new will create a timeless look that will appeal to anyone who appreciates the beauty of classic architecture.

The Fairytale House is going to be an exciting project for us, and we can't wait to see the finished result. With its enchanting design, practical updates, and beautiful details, this home is sure to be a dream come true for anyone who loves both classic and modern design.
